stick with it

I felt that I had to review this as the former review on the site did it disservice, especially as the film is soon to be released on video, it deserves recommendation. That's not to say the film is perfect, the beginning is somewhat tough slogging, yet you will eventually be rewarded. The premise is thus: In the first half the characters all die from something (choking, auto accident, etc.), in the second half, they are all given a chance to live. To Live or Die. Despite the bleak start, it ends up being comic, celebratory and certainly experimental enough to demand analysis. (Like a lot of Godard, a second viewing is even more rewarding)
